Russia’s new president Dmitry Medvedev has made a number of new appointments, including Igor Shchyogolev as head of the newly created Communications and Press Ministry.
The move marks an end to the nine-year tenure of Leonid Reiman as IT and Communications minister, though some believe he could make a come back to oversee the IT sector.
