The Ukrainian State Property Fund (SPF) is reported to have posted a UAH12 billion (€1.55 billion) asking price for a 67.79% stake in Ukrtelecom, the country’s incumbent telco.
Among the possible bidders for the stake are MTS (Russia), Magyar Telekom, Telekom Austria and Telenor.
The asking price is somewhat lower than the €4.8 billion the state was expecting it might make on the sale only earlier this year.
