The Dutch IPTV provider Tele2 Vision will add Eurosport and local Amsterdam broadcaster AT5 to its line-up of channels. The Italian national channel RAI Uno and German regional public broadcaster Westdeutsches Fernsehen will meanwhile be scrapped because of very limited interest.
The addition of Eurosport is a no-brainer, as the Tele2 IPTV platform started almost three year ago as the exclusive distributor of live Dutch premium football.
AT5 is the local Amsterdam broadcaster, which also recently achieved distribution on the Dutch Canal Digitaal DTH platform. For the time being, AT5 is offered for a period of three months on the so-called ‘showcase channel.’
