M6, the second largest French commercial broadcaster, will launch its online catch-up TV service next week. Called M6 Replay, viewers will have free access to all the broadcaster’s programmes, proceeded by pre-roll commercials. Programmes will become available an hour after the first broadcast and will remain online for a period of two weeks. Of course only those programmes will be offered to which M6 has the online rights. They will include both original French productions as well as acquired (US) series.
