At year end 2007 there were 3,044,000 digital homes in The Netherlands, according to research by GfK on behalf the Digital Expert Group from Immovator. Cable was by far the main digital distribution infrastructure with over 1,510,00 homes. Satellite DTH followed with around 750,000 homes, DTT with 500,000 and IPTV with just over 200,000 subscribers. Although cable has the most digital subscribers, it accounts for only one fourth of all cabled homes, which total around 6.1 million. DTH, terrestrial and IPTV are 100% digital, with no more analogue broadcasts over satellite nor terrestrial.
