The Swiss IPTV service Bluwin TV from Swisscom posted 70,000 connected homes at the end of last year, according to the company. The company plans to have between 200,000 and 250,000 subscribers by the end of next year.
The TV service from the incumbent operator is in heavy competition with the various cable operators and now offers over 100 TV channels including a number of HD services, as well as 70 radio stations.
