Harmonic is to deploy its on-demand solutions for the VOD service operated by Multimedia Polska, Poland’s third largest cable operator. The service, which is the first of its kind in Poland, made its debut last September, and though initially offered in six cities should be made available to Multimedia Polska’s entire digital cable subscriber base by the end of this year. The operator already employs Harmonic’s optical transmission solutions.
