The upcoming privatisation of the incumbent Slovenian telco Telekom Slovenije is still on track, according to the commission overseeing the process. It has dismissed reports that one of the two remaining bidders – the Icelandic company Skipti – is withdrawing as untrue. Both Skipti and a consortium of Bain Capital, Axos Capital & BT Global Services have to make their final submissions by the end of this month.
