Russia’s leading mobile company MTS has announced plans to invest around R38 billion (€1.05 billion) on 3G and R35 billion on implementing telecom applications up to the year 2020. Sistema-backed MTS is expected to launch a commercial mobile TV service next month that will initially offer viewers around eight channels.
