The launch of mobile TV has moved a major step closer in Poland. In a rare show of unity, the heads of the leading mobile companies Polkomtel, Centertel, PTC and P4 have held a joint press conference in Warsaw in which they said they would work together to introduce services. A DVB-H trial has been under way in the country since last November, offering viewers living within 30km of the Palace of Culture in central Warsaw a total of 11 channels from TVP, Polsat and TVN.
