Latens expands bizdev team

Conditional access specialist Latens has announced two new appointments to its business development team. The company is looking to further exploit cable, IPTV, satellite and terrestrial markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Joël Gueugnon will be based in Paris, having previously worked for Intel Corporation Digital Home Networking, Thomson Multimedia Components Division and contributing to the deployment of the NetGem’s middleware and digital set-tops.

London-based Mike Leigh joins from Verimatrix where he was the business development Manager for northern Europe. He was previously head of business development and strategy for the telcoms division of LogicaCMG and a vice president at Cambridge-based set-top developer Amino Communications.
