Dutch incumbent telecoms operator KPN has said it aims to get 10% of the Dutch television market by 2010 with its DTT service product Digitenne as the main driver. Just a few weeks ago, KPN said it served 500,000 TV homes, most of which are subscribing to Digitenne; just a small number take the IPTV service. Although no official figures have been released, the number of IPTV homes is believed to be around 10,000. This year, KPN will also roll out its commercial DVB-H service, probably just in time for the Euro 2008 Football Championships.
