The Bulgarian MSO Eurocom Cable has signalled its intention to buy five smaller operators to the country’s anti-trust authority. The operators in question are reported to be Cablesat 95, Color Sat, Gabrovo Cable, KSVSAT and Niki 2000. The acquisition would marginally increase Eurocom’s market share to around 12-12.5%. Eurocom is owned Warburg Pincus-backed FiberNet, the third largest operator in Hungary, and has recently expressed interest in buying the DTH platform ITV Partner.
