Television operators in the Italian region of Sardinia have agreed terms on the switchover to digital broadcasting. According to local reports, the switchover will now be postponed to the end of the summer from the original date of March 1.
The agreement itself still needs the signature of the stakeholders concerned, but is due to be finalised at a meeting on Tuesday. If the signatures are not forthcoming it will be left to the regulator Agcom to decide on the process.
