The European Commission has cleared the purchase of T-Systems Media & Broadcast (TSMB) GmbH by TDF. The French transmission company has paid €700 million for its German counterpart that provides services to broadcasters and telecoms operators including the transmission of analogue and digital terrestrial television.
The Commission granted clearance under the EU Merger Regulations through its simplified merger review procedure.
