The floatation of the Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat on Warsaw’s Stock Exchange looks likely to be put back from this month to next February or March, according to local reports. Unofficially, it is understood that the sale of up to 25% of its shares could net the owner Zygmunt Solorz-Zak up to PLN1.5 billion (€1.03 billion), making the deal the biggest so far in the exchange’s 16-year history. Cyfrowy Polsat currently has 1.8 million subscribers, while its closest rival Cyfra+ reached the one million mark late last week. Third placed n aims to have 300,000 customers by the end of the year.
