As previously reported in Broadband TV News, the NBC Universal channels Universal Channel and Sci Fi are to enter the Polish market. They will finally make their debuts on the DTH platform n, along with three SPI International Polska services – Filmbox, Nonstop Kino and Nonstop Kino HD – this Saturday, December 1. All three SPI services will be offered to subscribers free of charge for the first month. One of three DTH platforms in Poland, n claimed to have 200,000 subscribers in mid-October and is aiming to reach 300,000 by the end of the year.
