Dániel Pataki, the head of the Hungarian National Communications Authority (NHH), has been elected the VP of the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG). The RSPG, which is based in Brussels, has as its brief the adoption of opinions “which are meant to assist and advise the (European) Commission on radio spectrum policy issues, on coordination of policy approaches and, where appropriate, on harmonised conditions with regard to the availability and efficient use of radio spectrum necessary for the establishment and functioning of the internal market.” It has up to two members from each EU member state.
