During the presentation of its Q3 figures, the Belgian incumbent Belgacom said it gained 109,769 new TV customers during the first nine months of the year. This brought the total IPTV homes in the country served by Belgacom TV to 249,434.
The Belgian cable operator Telenet has meanwhile said it had 340,000 digital homes as of September 30, an increase of 31,000 on the proceeding quarter. The company also reported that the number of VOD orders on a monthly basis now has reached 1 million.
