Sweden’s Modern Times Group (MTG) has announced a number of new senior management appointments. At the same time, it has reorganised its operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Manfred Aronsson is now the CEO of MTG Sweden, and will be responsible for free and pay-TV and radio in both the country and Baltic Region. Anders Nilsson, currently CEO of MTG Sweden, will become Co-COO of MTG, while Ulrik Bengtsson moves from CEO of Viasat in Sweden to CEO of Pay-TV Emerging Markets. Laurence Miall-d’Aout, currently head of pay-TV Eastern Europe, will become CEO of Free-TV Emerging Markets, and Yggers Mortensen, the CEO of MTG’s CEE operations, will leave the company at the end of the year.
