Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has granted a licence to a new satellite channel named Patio TV. Backed by the Lódz-based company Fabryka Mediów, the service will be on air for 17 hours daily and offer educational-type programming, targeting viewers in the 18-30-age group. The KRRiT has also awarded a satellite licence to ITI Neovision for its new religious channel religia.tv.
