Slovakia has passed a law that will see receiver licence fees (RLFs) paid through electricity bills. According to local reports, they are also likely to be split in the proportion 7:3 between the public broadcaster STV and its radio counterparts SRo. It is estimated that under the new system, the two will receive a combined total of SKK1 billion (€29.38 million) from RLFs.
