IBC 2007 – AMSTERDAM. We had the scoop earlier last week (see last Friday’s issue), but now it’s official: today UPC and SlingMedia officially announced a trial to introduce the Slingbox for UPC Digital TV customers in the Netherlands. The Slingbox allows UPC Digital TV customers to remotely control their digital Mediabox and watch or record their TV channels and programmes using a broadband Internet connection.
