AFDESI, the French Association for Interactive Television is hosting its fifth annual International ITV Awards 2007 on October 30 in Barcelona. The competition is open to all companies including operators, broadcasters, developers, and publishers who were involved in a live interactive television service or concept during the year 2006/7, up to June 2007. The competition has grown to incorporate all new formats of television interactivity, through remote control, fixed and mobile phone. Online registration to enter the award competition is available at the association’s website www.afdesi.org. The entry deadline is September 15.
Trophies designed by Stack will be awarded to the best entry in ten different categories at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos on the evening of October 30 in Barcelona, Spain, during the annual Interactive TV Show. The categories are:
