The Dutch incumbent telco KPN will lower the subscription prices of its DTT and IPTV services on August 2. It will also change the name of the latter from Mine to Interactieve Televisie and revert to the original Digitenne brand for its DTT platform, which is currently also referred to as KPNTV. A subscription to Digitenne will be reduced from €9.95 to €6.95 a month and include the rental of a set-top box. Additional set-top boxes, with a maximum of three per subscription, will cost a further €3 a month. KPN currently claims 300,000 subscribers to its DTT service.
