The incumbent Greek telco OTE ended Q2 with 725,000 ADSL subscribers, as opposed to 623,000 three months earlier. However, it is also starting to feel the effects of competition, with 107,386 people using services provided by alternative carriers at the end of June. Three months earlier, the figure stood at only 10,980. OTE believes that it could lose up to 170,000 subscribers to competitors by the end of the year.
