The Czech national commercial broadcaster TV Nova has found itself in a dispute over transmission fees with Radiokomunikace. As a result, it was unable to start DTT transmissions in the north of the country on July 1, as had previously been planned. TV Nova is already distributed digitally on Radiokomunikace’s multiplex in Prague, Brno, Ostrava and Domazlice, reaching around 36% of the population. Coverage in the north would have raised the figure to 48%.
