Music Choice is to open its 38 extra music channels this weekend to anyone who subscribes to one of Sky’s monthly packages. The entire 48-channel package will go free-to-air from Friday 6 to Sunday July 8. A mini package of ten channels is already available within Sky’s basic packages. The extended package is available for a monthly £5, though Music Choice currently had an offer in place that reduces the cost to £2.50 for the first three months of subscription.
Separately, GCap-owned radio stations Core, Cube, Chill and Classic Gold are expected to leave the Sky EPG this week. The stations continue to broadcast on DAB for the time being, but their future is under review, following a reorganisation of GCap’s radio portfolio.
