The Polish publishing group Agora and country’s leading independent production company ATM Grupa have signed an agreement that will lead to the creation of a 50/50 joint venture. With start up costs of PLN4 million (€1.07 million), its main activity will be making VOD formats available to subscribers over the Internet. Agora’s current interests include the national daily Gazeta Wyborcza and a number of Internet portals, while ATM Grupa is already actively engaged in producing TV programmes for delivery over the Internet.
