According to data produced by the Hungarian Advertising Association (MRSZ), the ad market in the country was worth HUF176.3 billion (€704.2 million) in 2006, or 5.8% more than in the previous year. The TV sector, worth HUF72 billion, accounted for 40.84% of the total, as opposed to 41.84% in 2006. Although Internet advertising only stood at HUF9.7 billion in 2006, the figure was 59% higher than a year earlier.
