Channels from broadband TV network Jump TV are to appear through a new set-top box being launched by Simply Media. Channels from Latin America, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East; including top channels from Romania, Bangladesh, Turkey and Pakistan will be made available on the Simply TV IPTV set-top. The channels will be offered in both country and region specific bundles and sit alongside Simply Media’s own channel brands.
Simply Media is best known for the creation and distribution of channels that include Best Direct, Thane Direct UK and Pokerzone. The new offer will be targeted at ethnic audiences who will be offered the opportunity of purchasing either a monthly or annual subscription when they acquire their IPTV receiver. The packaging is being priced at between £3.99 and £19.99 per month. The WiFi enabled box works with any broadband Internet Service Provider. (JC)
