The Norwegian cablenet Get has announced the results of its recent viewer survey that determines the composition of the operator’s basic packages.
The result is that Eurosport, TV2 Zebra and Disney Channel will be added to the analogue package while Showtime, Star, SBS-backed music channel The Voice and Danish public broadcaster DR1 now have a place in the digital package.
Around 8,000 households were invited to take part in the survey, which followed an earlier study conducted by the former UPC Norway last October.
Participants were given the option of selecting a recommended package or choosing from an ’a la carte’ menu. 30.3% completed the survey; of these 69% voted for the recommended package and 31% for the a la carte menu.
The changes take effect on June 1.
