The latest in the series of market specific business breakfasts, organised by Broadband TV News in association with Telenor Satellite Broadcasting, will be held at the Marriott Hotel Budapest on Thursday, April 19.
The theme of the event will be The future of digital TV in Hungary. It will
take place from 8.30 to 10.30am and be preceded by a light breakfast, which
will be served from 8am. Afterwards delegates will have the opportunity to
network from 10.30 until 11.30am.
Hungary has made significant progress in its transition to digital broadcasting, made particularly noteworthy by the success of MinDig TV Extra, one of the few pay-DTT operations in the CEE region.
At the same time, UPC, Magyar Telekom and RCS/RDS continue to be the leading providers of pay-TV services in the country, which besides having large cable, DTH and IPTV sectors is home to such leading content companies as Chello Central Europe.
