Norwegian cablenet Get is to rollout the VAP4300 wireless extender from Arris International.
It will give subscribers extended coverage of Get’s top class broadband internet throughout the home.
“To get the most out of the fast broadband connection coming into their homes, our customers need fast, reliable wireless coverage wherever they are in their homes – Get is focused on delivering this seamless coverage. A solution to help optimize the home Wi-Fi network is the VAP4300 wireless extender from Arris,” said Dan Ramunddal, CTO, Get.
“By locating the router at the center of the home and adding the new wireless extender, our customers will enjoy a reliable and stable Wi-Fi experience.”
“People want more from their broadband, and in many cases, the limitation is their home Wi-Fi – they’re asking for Wi-Fi without limits. Wi-Fi extenders, like the Arris VAP4300, offer service providers a quick and simple install solution to ease customer frustration and reduce customer service calls,” said Jim Henderson, Senior Vice President, International CPE, Arris.
“We’re predicting that in five years, the modern home will require three extenders to meet connectivity needs. We look forward to continued collaboration with Get, working together on solutions to further improve the home network and consumer Wi-Fi experience.”
The Arris VAP4300 wireless extender will be available to Get customers this month.
