Magyar Telekom remains the leading provider of fixed broadband services in Hungary, claiming a 35.6% market share as of this October.
According to the regulator NMHH, it was followed by UPC and Digi, with 21.9% and 14.1% respectively, with the next largest providers being Invitel (9.5%), Tarr (2.6%), PR-Telekom (2%), ViDaNet (1.9%), GTS-Hungary (0.7%) and Parisat (0.5%).
The total number of cable broadband subscriptions stood at 1,007,134, of which DCSIS 3.0 accounted for over half (534,122).
The number of FTTx and xDSL subscriptions were 385,065 and 787,694 respectively.
