Poland’s leading cable operator UPC Polska is making its advanced services more widely available, including in smaller locations.
According to the company, these include Glucholazy, a town in south west Poland close to the Czech border, where all its subscribers will, thanks to digitisation, be able to receive digital TV, 250 Mbps internet access, UPC Wi-Free and the Horizon TV app by the end of November.
UPC Polska had 1,436,600 subscribers nationally as of the end of the second quarter.
Almost two thirds (886,000) opted for interactive digital TV services, 326,000 analogue TV, 958,100 broadband internet and 535,000 telephony.
