Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks has signed a first carriage agreement with TalkTalk.
The deal will see SPT’s entertainment channel, Sony Entertainment Television (SET), become available to TalkTalk subscribers on YouView channel 454.
Sony Entertainment Television is one of SPT’s global channel brands, featuring light and scripted entertainment, including feature films and television series from the Hollywood studios. SPT Networks operates a bespoke version of the channel for the UK, also scheduling British television series.
Sony Entertainment Television will be offered to TalkTalk subscribers through TalkTalk’s Entertainment and Entertainment Extra Boost packages. Viewers will be able to access territory premieres of comedies like Community and Hot In Cleveland along with the complete seasons of quality scripted shows such as Will and Grace, The Tudors, Hustle and Life on Mars. Feature Films coming up include Seven Pounds, Rachel Getting Married, In Her Shoes and The Omen (2006).
