The hand out of the test boxes to the twenty selected participants was broadcast over the video sharing site Bambuser. Over 1,600 subscribers to the Swedish cable network expressed an interest in taking part in the scheme.
A dedicated blog on the Com Hem website is detailing every move complete with details of the 25 minutes it takes to connect the box up and information on the menu screens. This includes an emphasis on the Swedish language menu items.
Com Hem is currently taking pre-registration and plans to launch its TiVo product in the summer.
