DirecTV, the Chernin Group, backed by AT&T and Guggenheim Digital Media are among the likely bidders for Hulu, offers for which have to be submitted by this Friday, July 12.
According to the WSJ, others include Time Warner Cable and the private equity form Kohlberg Kravis Roberts.
Hulu was launched in 2007 and currently lists 21st Century Fox, Walt Disney Co and Comcast Corp among its owners.
It currently has over 4 million subscribers and provides over 77,000 full TV episodes from 489 content partners.
