Russia’s ProfMedia had revenues of R7 billion (€172.4 million) for its three channels MTV, TV3 and 2×2 in 2012.
This, according to the company, was 26% more than in the previous year and 17% more than the market growth in the segment.
The revenues of the ProfMedia Broadcasting Corporation (PMBC) in 2012 meanwhile amounted to R2.3 billion, or 26% more than a year earlier and 3% higher than the market growth.
ProfMedia as a whole had revenues of R15.9 billion in 2012 (+12%) and its EBITDA margin increased by 53% to R4.1 billion.
ProfMedia will be replacing MTV with a new channel named Pyatnitsa in June.
Full details of the new channel will be announced at a presentation later this week.
