The fifth stage of Poland’s analogue switch off process will take place on May 20.
According to the national transmission company Emitel, it will be in accordance with the timetable produced by the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) and come alongside the activation of additional transmissions of the third DTT multiplex (MUX3), which has been allocated solely to the public broadcaster TVP.
The latest switch off wil involve transmitters covering 12 cities, among them Bydgoszcz, Katowice and Krakow.
Poland will complete its transition to digital broadcasting this July.
