Joshua Danovitz, general manager, international, TiVo has told Broadband TV News in a video interview that the company is targeting European operators of varying sizes.
His comments follow the successful rollouts on Virgin Media and Ono.
“A great example is in the US when we work with companies as large as Charter and Comcast, but we also work with some as the smaller ones, as small as 150,000 subscribers,” Danovitz explained. “When we look at Europe we don’t look at one size of operator, because they are all facing similar challenges. They are being challenged by broadband video and competition in the market be it satellite or cable.”
Danovitz also explains how operators are working together on the sharing of apps.
