KidsCo has made two key appointments, hiring a general manager of global distribution and a global head of sales and marketing in a bid to attract the attention of Europe’s major broadcasters.
Loïc Autret will lead the global distribution team and extend the channel’s presence worldwide, while Chris Nicholls will oversee KidsCo’s global advertising and sponsorship.
KidsCo is a joint venture between NBC Universal, Corus Entertainment Inc (Nelvana) and Cookie Jar Entertainment.
Targeting children aged 6-10 and families, it has a presence in 94 territories in a total of 18 languages.
