Dutch ISP Xs4all has announced it will launch its Interactieve IPTV service this March. Basic subscription prices start at €15 a month for 50 channels including rental of the set-top box.
Xs4all is part of KPN and the IPTV product is believed to be using the same infrastrcuture. Apart from 50 channels, the basic tier provides access to the catch-up TV service Programma Gemist as well as a VOD offer.
An extended tier with 40 additional channels will also be available, as well as the premium channels Eredivisie Live (featuring live coverage of the Dutch football league) and Chellomedia’s Sport1 channels.
The service will first be made available to existing subscribers first, with new customers being welcomed at a later stage.
KPN’s IPTV service Interactieve TV had 302,000 customers at the end of December 2010.
