Turkey’s Dogan Media Group (DYH) has posted revenues of TRY721 million (€371.4 million) for the second quarter, a 15% increase on the same period last year.
Although its EBITDA rose by an even more impressive 148% year-on-year to TRY103 million, it recorded a loss of TL35 million in the quarter, as opposed to a profit of TL37 million in Q2 2009.
DYH is one of the leading media conglomerates in Turkey. Its interests include the channels Kanal D and Star TV, along with three channels – CNN Türk, TNT and Cartoon Network – operated jointly with Turner, an interactive TV channel named FIX TV and the DTH platform D-Smart.
