According to Realdeal, the money will used to acquire technical equipment. The regulator has also earmarked a further HUF89.9 million for the production of local and regional public TV programmes. A total of 24 broadcasters will benefit from the funding for technical equipment and 28 from the programming funds.
The decision follows separate tenders opened in January and March this year.
