Former Thomson man Yann Courqueux has been named as the new chief marketing officer at set-top supplier Netgem.
In his new role Courqueux will be responsible for Netgem’s global marketing and communications. He will report to managing director Christophe Aulnette.
Courqueux has spent 15 years in international sales, marketing and management roles within the Thomson Group. Most recently he has been involved in the strategic planning for the group’s IPTV and mobile TV operations.
“With his strong track record, wealth of expertise and in depth understanding of IPTV market worldwide, Yann will contribute to the acceleration of our product development and to the increase of our market share in this fast-growing, international IPTV market. I am delighted to have Yann join our executive team,” said Aulnette.
Courqueux holds a Master of Science in Image Communication, a German Diplomarbeit in Telecommunications and an MBA from INSEAD.
