STN is to provide complete headend services and realise the hosting and power supply for Slovenia’s second DTT multiplex.
Operated by Norking, its commercial operation will start on September 1, exactly three months before the country completes ASO.
Coverage of the second multiplex (B), which will carry commercial programmes, will reach over 85% of the population before switch off. The first multiplex (A) is already reserved for services offered by the public broadcaster RTV Slovenia.
STN is based near the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. A global provider of broadcast over satellite solutions, it operates one of the largest and most modern teleports in the CEE region.
