It’s coming good for Swisscom’s Italian broadband provider Fastweb. The company has reported consolidated revenues for 2009 of €1,853 million, representing a 8.5% increase on 2008, and in excess of the 5% growth target set by management. The consolidated net profit of €36 million is €35 million greater than that recorded for 2008, though the net loss was still €35.6 million.
An additional 162,000 net subscribers were added during the year, taking the customer base to 1,644,000, though the company does not split out the number of subscribers to its IPTV service. The financial statements did however offer that ARPU components, fees, usage and IPTV were stable or slightly up on 2008.
