Viasat has launched its proprietary channel Viasat Hockey in the Baltic Republics.
It is the region’s only dedicated ice hockey channel and has broadcasting rights for the three Baltic Republics and exclusive rights to the KHL (see separate story).
Viasat Hockey was originally launched in September 2009 as the only dedicated ice hockey channel in Sweden and Finland.
In the Baltics, Viasat Hockey will be an addition to Viasat Sport Baltic and Viasat Golf and replace Viasat Sport East.
